Magazines PODIUM e INVESTIGATIO Research Review are publications of the Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES), which have circulated since 2004 and since 2010 respectively, through which the results of the various processes of research work are disseminated at the scientific and methodological level, disseminating nationally and internationally the new knowledge of internal and external researchers, respecting the freedom of thought of their authors, who seek to provide solutions required by society, academically and scientifically supported, according to methodological guidelines of indexed publications.

Articles are received throughout the year or through the biannual calls made by the Editorial Board through the Open Journal System (OJS), which are submitted to the double-blind arbitration system, the reviewers have a rubric evaluation format to assess them; where three areas of review are considered: communication, critical thinking and content. The texts received will be submitted to a software to determine the similarity and level of concordance with Internet sources, in order to evaluate their originality. The journals do not undertake to correspond with the articles submitted.

Articles must comply with the publication regulations established for each journal, including the use of APA norms. The texts must reflect the results or advances of the research activities carried out, supported by an updated bibliography.

Among the topics that can be submitted to the journal for consideration are:

  • Results of scientific research projects.
  • Products of classroom research projects carried out in classrooms, coordinated by the teacher and students, which meet methodological criteria that validate the results obtained from this activity.
  • Results of consulting and advisory services provided by higher education institutions to public (central government, ministries, sectional agencies, among others) and private institutions (central government, ministries, sectional agencies, among others) and private institutions.
  • Advances and results of international research conducted in conjunction with universities or scientific institutes.

The journals are indexed in the Catalog of the Regional Online Information System of Scientific Journals of Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal; Latindex; it is also registered in the Information Matrix for the Analysis of Journals (MIAR) and the Integrated Classification of Scientific Journals (CIRC).
