I Congress Academia, Business and Government: Solutions for Development
The Universidad Espiritu Santo (UEES) was the venue for the I Congress “Academia, Business and Government: Solutions for Development”.”, This academic event was consolidated as a space for interdisciplinary dialogue, where concrete proposals were discussed to strengthen the link between academic research, the productive sector and public institutions in Ecuador.
The Congress brought together distinguished participants, among them candidates for the D. in Organizational Administration and Management like María Elizabeth Arteaga García, PMP, MPM, y Muman Rojas, The participants presented high-level academic research with a direct impact on organizational management.
In addition, students from the Masters in Business —Joseph Cervantes, Jorge Ayala, MSc, Alexandra Villavicencio Arias, Javier Almeida, Roger Castillo, Luis Cepeda López, Edy Vera y Colón González- shared analyses and proposals aimed at solving key business and governmental challenges from an applied and interdisciplinary perspective.
The event included the valuable participation of representatives from the public sector, among them the Zonal Director 8 of the Internal Revenue Service (SRI), Carlos Vicente Marín Quijije, who provided relevant inputs to promote a constructive dialogue between academia and the State.
This Congress marked a milestone by laying the foundations for a new sustainable collaboration between academia, business and government, promoting a development agenda based on evidence, innovation and shared responsibility.
