During the second semester of 2024, students of the Faculty of Entrepreneurship, Business and Economics of UEES participated in a project of linkage with society focused on strengthening entrepreneurial skills in the Center for Entrepreneurship and Municipal Optimization (CEYOM) of the canton of Samborondón. Through training and personalized support, 48 women entrepreneurs strengthened their businesses.
Activities included sessions on marketing, finance, costs and social media management, as well as fairs organized with the support of the Municipality of Samborondón. These fairs allow the beneficiaries to exhibit their products and apply the knowledge they have acquired. The support also fostered soft skills such as leadership and teamwork, consolidating a space of trust for learning and business growth.
The results of the program reflected a positive impact on the community. The entrepreneurs highlighted the usefulness of the training. As a result of this experience, CEYOM announced the continuity of specific workshops and the reinforcement of the use of social networks for product promotion.
