An outstanding group of students from the School of Communication of the Universidad Espiritu Santo (UEES) has been recognized as the winners of the Effie College 2024. The team, composed of José Alvarado, Sandra Vélez, Gabriel Moreira, Gabriela Molineros and Eliesser Cobos, received the trophy and diploma from Kleber Molina, General Manager, and Karina Arrega, Marketing Analyst of Kobe Sushi & Rolls.

The road to this prestigious award was not an easy one. The students faced a challenging process that required exceptional dedication and constant effort. For one month, they worked hard, combining creativity and strategy to develop a proposal that not only met the contest standards, but also exceeded their own expectations. Their commitment and perseverance were key to achieving this significant accomplishment.

The Effie Awards, The annual awards, held annually, are recognized in the advertising industry for their focus on the effectiveness of marketing communications. With a track record of 50 years and presence in more than 55 countries, these awards highlight ideas that achieve tangible results and the strategies that support them.

In Ecuador, the Effie Awards and Effie College are organized by Valora Ecuador under license from Effie Worldwide Inc.. The jury is made up of a multidisciplinary group of professionals with extensive experience in marketing and advertising, who evaluate the participating cases to ensure that solid and measurable results are presented.

This recognition not only highlights the talent of the students, but also reinforces the importance of practical education in the training of future marketing and advertising professionals in Ecuador. Their effort and dedication are an inspiring example to their peers and a testament to the potential that young people have in the industry.
