Our Director of the Doctorate in Administration and researcher of the University of Espiritu Santo Specialties (UEES), Javier Changoluisa, Javier Changoluisa, had the opportunity to take part in the 8th Latin American Entrepreneurship and Innovation Economics Network Conference, held in Montevideo, Uruguay. This event, which brings together experts and academics from all over the region, is one of the main spaces for the exchange of knowledge on innovation and entrepreneurship.

The Economics of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Network of Latin America and the Caribbean aims to promote the study, dissemination and training on these key issues for the region's economic development. This network is supported by renowned institutions such as the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the National Institute of Statistics of Uruguay (INE), the Center for Economic Research (CINVE), the School of Administration and Social Sciences (FACS) of ORT Uruguay University and the School of Economics and Administration (FCEA) of the University of the Republic, Uruguay.

At this edition of the conference, Dr. Changoluisa presented the results of his paper titled «Coming back for more: University-industry Repeat Licensing Relationship.», which was evaluated by an academic committee before being accepted for submission. In his research, Changoluisa explores the dynamics of repeated licensing relationships between universities and industries, analyzing how these relationships can foster continuous innovation and mutual benefits for both sectors. His work contributes to a better understanding of how licensing and technology transfer can enhance economic development and innovation.
