The days October 20 and 21, 2023, the Espiritu Santo University (UEES) hosted the 7th Conference of the Economics of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Network (RIE), This high-level academic event brought together researchers, professors, students and representatives of multilateral organizations from all over Latin America and the Caribbean.

Organized by the RIE Network, with the support of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and in collaboration with the Doctorate in Administration and Management of Organizations of UEES, The purpose of this conference was to promote the rigorous study and dissemination of knowledge on key issues of innovation and entrepreneurship, The company's operations are fundamental for the economic and social development of the region.

One of the most eagerly awaited presentations was that of the international guest lecturer, the renowned academic Maryann Feldman from Arizona State University, The event was attended by the President of the Mexican Association of Innovation, who shared his reflections on the current challenges in innovation policies from a global perspective.

The conference accepted both completed and in-progress research papers, allowing emerging and established researchers to present significant advances and receive valuable academic feedback.

This meeting reaffirmed the company's commitment to the RIE Network, the IDB and the UEES with the construction of a solid, critical and innovative research community, capable of proposing solutions based on scientific evidence for the challenges of Latin America and the Caribbean.
