From the conception of life, human beings go through processes that shape their personality, attitudes and aptitudes; one of the most important is education, which provides valid tools and knowledge to be applied on a daily basis.
Early childhood is a crucial stage for human beings. It is the period of time that allows the formation and development of skills and abilities to create later learning; and the leading role of education is based on the formation, functionality and structuring of the brain.
It is important to explain that after the first 3 years of a child's life, the second childhood -from 3 to 6 years- is the stage that opens the field to personal interest, because the physical, cognitive, social and personality areas are developed and strengthened.
So, questions arise: how important is early education, why is early education still not convincing, giving thousands of answers that may not convince society. By analyzing the possible factors that impede the optimal development of early education, it will be possible to achieve and attain the objective that has been set.
It is the responsibility of the Ministry of Education to promote preschool curricula and work plans, as well as to motivate and train teachers, since they must be able to awaken children's interest in learning, inquiring and questioning.
It should also be kept in mind that an early educator must be in good physical and mental health to be able to cope with daily activities, be self-confident and possess interpersonal skills that allow him/her to nurture emotional stability.
The teacher must be empathetic with the child and understand, from his or her point of view, how he or she feels when faced with a situation. He/she must also respect the initiative and learning pace of each child, developing his/her potentialities to the fullest. Without the aforementioned characteristics, the teaching-learning process is not fulfilled, generating deficiencies in early education, which will not allow the fulfillment of the processes or the commitment to apply methodologies and strategies focused on developing the child's basic communicative, pre-mathematical, social, scientific and artistic skills.
It is also important to point out the importance of vocation and the desire to teach and build a society. Also, education needs professionals committed to research and constantly seeking to update their knowledge.
In this compilation of factors and actors that actively participate in the early education process, it is necessary to mention the other fundamental pillar of the educational triangle: parents. They are the support and continuity of the child's daily learning process.
It is necessary to be aware that teamwork between teachers and parents leads to optimal results in the integral wellbeing of children.
It should also be noted that this work team is joined by the authorities of the educational units, who must constantly ensure full compliance with the curriculum and the emotional stability of the teaching staff.
Therefore, in order to strengthen early education, it is essential to take into account the teacher and other actors, since only in this way will early education begin to have the value and importance for a preliminary boost in the development of society.
Initial education prepares the human being to make decisions through logical reasoning, resulting in valid solutions, which can be right or even wrong, which serve to experience and appropriate the learning that they leave behind.
It is time to give full value to initial education, which develops the basic notions for understanding and reasoning, giving way to a free and knowledge-hungry society, in which ethical and moral principles prevail forever.
