This morning, a meeting on the Coronavirus Prevention Regulations (COVID-19) was held in the Foundational Auditorium of the UEES, in accordance with the permanent updating policy that the institution maintains in this epidemiological crisis.

Dr. Joaquín Hernández Alvarado, rector of the institution, Dr. Pedro Barberán, Dean of the School of Medical Sciences, and Dr. Mireya Rodas, Director of the Master's Program in Medical Specialties, stressed to the teaching staff, researchers and collaborators the norms and recommendations to be followed.

There is no case of contagion of this pandemic in our immediate environment. The University insists on the need to maintain calm and normality in this situation and not to be carried away by false information or information that has no official basis.

The academic and administrative activities of the university are carried out with complete peace of mind, taking the indications indicated for the prevention of the same.

There is a direct channel of communication and permanent information with deans and directors to keep them informed of any new developments.

The Ministry of Public Health is the government agency in charge of disseminating the necessary measures for the country.
