The Graduate School of Law of the Universidad Espiritu Santo will hold an international forum with the participation of important national and international panelists on the topic “.“Current Legal Issues.”The event will take place on Thursday, September 1 at 19:00 in the St. Moritz Room of the Swissôtel in Mexico City.

The panelists will be: Carlos Bernal Pulido, Ph.D, Commissioner of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights; Paulina Araujo Granda, Ph.D, Professor of the UEES Graduate School of Law; Alí Lozada Prado, Ph.D, President of the Constitutional Court and Professor of the UEES Graduate School of Law; Pablo Alarcón Peña, D, Ph.D, Director and Professor of the UEES Law School and as commentator Pamela Aguirre Castro, Ph.D, Director of the Observatorio Jurídico Social UEES.

The topics to be discussed will be: Fundamental rights and artificial intelligence, Ignorance of criminal law in Ecuador, Constitutionalism between authority and justice, and within the framework of these topics, the contribution of the UEES Graduate School of Law to justice and the training of jurists in Ecuador will be highlighted.

The event will be attended by special guests, including judges of the high courts of Ecuador, members of the Judiciary Council, the Higher Education Council, the Transparency and Social Control Function, among other high authorities, academics and law students of the capital.

The registration is done through the website. It is worth mentioning that in only four days the initial quotas for the conference were filled. Currently, more have been made available for public attendance.
