UEES Student Clubs

UEESMUN

UEESMUN is a three-day simulation of the United Nations organization for university and college students, allowing them to keep abreast of world events and assume the roles of representatives of United Nations members to discuss social, economic and humanitarian problems and propose innovative solutions.

In the current context of social problems, UEESMUN has emerged as one of the most innovative and game-changing platforms in the city for young people to voice their opinions on any socio-political issue they are passionate about. Through the model sessions, delegates are empowered to discuss global issues, propose resolutions and negotiate with each other in the position of world leaders. It is also through the MUN sessions that young people can gain insight into issues of major international concern, hone their diplomatic and collaborative skills, and interact with people from diverse perspectives: the influence of the UEESMUN is such that its participants can immensely prepare themselves for the challenges of the future.

COP 30: Towards decisive climate action

The Conference of the Parties (COP 30) represents a turning point in the fight against climate change. This year, UEESMUN becomes the stage where the future leaders of the world will debate real and sustainable solutions to face one of the most pressing crises of our time.
Beyond the ecological approach, COP 30 redefines the global agenda by prioritizing social justice, the inclusion of peoples, the eradication of hunger and the construction of a truly equitable and sustainable development model.
From this integral vision, delegates will analyze the most urgent environmental, social and economic challenges, assuming the role of the States in the construction of solid and transforming multilateral agreements.
