UEES Student Clubs

Owl Readers Circle

The UEES Reading Owls Circle was created with the objective of promoting reading and fostering critical thinking among students.

In a university environment where the academic focus can be technical and professional oriented, the creation of a book club opens spaces for literary analysis, reflection and the exchange of ideas, as well as contributing to the development of skills such as reading comprehension and argumentation.

This club seeks to bring students closer to diverse forms of cultural and artistic expression through the reading of different literary genres, facilitating a meeting space for those interested in literature. The creation of the club also responds to a need to strengthen the sense of community and belonging among students, allowing them to explore common interests and share their passion for reading in an inclusive and collaborative environment.
