If you already have advanced proficiency in English, a level B2 fully passed and you have international certificate of accreditation, you may be exempted from the placement test requirement by presenting such certificate. at the University's Language School.
To do so, you must comply with the following:
- Submit the official certificate with the scores achieved in the international recognition.
- It must be accredited the fulfillment of, at least, level B2 fully passed, according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
The following tests are accepted:
- TOEFL. With a minimum score of 90. Not less than 22 in each of the competencies.
- IELTS. With a minimum score of 6.5 in each competency.
- Cambridge First Certificate (FCE) or Cambridge English Advance (CAE). With a minimum score of 179 in each competency.
- International Baccalaureate (IB). The English score cannot be lower than 6.
- ECCE. With a minimum score of 800 in each competition.
- MET. With a minimum score of 63 in each competition.
- PEARSON. With a minimum score of 63 in each competition.
Additionally:
- Exams taken in online mode are not accepted.
- The certificates must have a maximum age of 2 years, from the time the test was performed.
- Everything will be validated before acceptance. If it cannot be validated, it will not be accepted.
- International exams must have been taken with a photo.
- It is the student's responsibility to verify the legitimacy of the center where he/she will take the exam.
- The university reserves the right to summon students for validation.
