Biography

Pablo Alarcón Peña is Director of the Graduate School of Law of the Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES). Doctor in Law, PhD, research professor at national and international universities. Author of books and articles in national and international indexed journals. His research interests focus on constitutional law, constitutional procedural law, comparative law and theory of law and legal transplants. His career includes technical-constitutional advisory positions in public and private entities. He has been an expert witness proposed by the Ecuadorian State in several cases under the jurisdiction of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
