Graduated from Espiritu Santo University as a Lawyer of the Courts and Tribunals of the Republic, with specialization in Business and Tax Law, along with Cum Laude academic recognition.
For 19 years he has practiced law in the areas of public, corporate, tax and human rights law.
He holds a Master's Degree in Violence Prevention and Inclusion from the University of Salamanca and a certification from the Global Economic and Political Environment, Risk Management, Institutional Crisis Management and Anti-Bribery Practices Program of the Faculty of Justice of the University of Cambridge.
From 2007 to 2009, he taught Administrative Law at UEES.
She was advisor to the Legal Undersecretary of the Presidency of the Republic of Ecuador. In 2018 she held the position of Director General of the Customs Service of Ecuador, an institution in which she implemented for the first time an Office of Ethical Strengthening and Fight against Corruption.
In 2020, she was appointed Vice President of the Republic.
