He is an expert in International Relations. He is also knowledgeable about study abroad and student exchanges. His area of research focuses on the acquisition and development of intercultural competencies.

He holds scholarships from Germany's DAAD, India's ITEC and Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
