She is an Economist, with an MBA from IDE Business School, registered in SENESCYT by the Catholic University of Santiago de Guayaquil and recognized in Spain by the IESE Business School of the University of Navarra; and a PhD in Education Sciences with emphasis in Management from the University of Havana in Cuba.

At UEES she has held different positions since 2010: Director of graduate programs in the area of Administration, Academic Director of the Graduate School, Academic Comptroller and currently she is the Academic Vice Chancellor of UEES.
