Italian is the official language in four countries: Italy, San Marino, Vatican City and Malta. It also has a significant number of speakers in other nations such as: Slovenia, Albania, Somalia, Libya and Eritrea. Today, there are more than 63 million Italian speakers worldwide.

Spanish is a language of culture, tourism, history and communication, spoken by 500 million people, almost 400 million as their mother tongue and 100 million as a second language. 21 countries around the world have Spanish as an official language. This makes it the second most spoken language, after Mandarin.

Japanese is the language of one of the world's great economic and technological powers, home to some of the world's largest companies such as Sony, Toshiba, Sanyo, Casio, Canon, Honda, Toyota, or Mitsubishi to name a few. Portuguese is the fifth most spoken language on the planet, and the third most spoken language in the Western world, surpassed only by English and Spanish.
