Target

  • Promote the principles of the Violet Economy by preparing women professionals to participate efficiently and effectively on Boards of Directors, Advisory Boards, and long-term management bodies of companies.
  • Develop capabilities to manage risk scenarios due to uncertainty and volatility, from the perspective of the Board of Directors and the contribution of the directors.

General information

Specific Objectives

  • Promote the participation of women for greater diversity in business decision making, demonstrating how gender diversity can add value and achieve better results. - To learn and use tools of self-knowledge and individual empowerment to enhance interaction in directive instances. 
  • To understand how corporate governance is present in the life cycle of the company, and how the Board of Directors interacts with Management for good management and structural decision making in the long term direction.
  • Master the challenges faced by companies, especially family businesses, in the sustainability of their life cycle, the trade-offs and dilemmas that must be faced and apply methodologies to solve them. Among them: succession, professionalization, growth, access to financing, market disruptions, etc.

Aimed at

Leading shareholders of companies and organizations that have not yet structured formal governance schemes or, having structured boards of directors, have not developed sufficient diversity with the incorporation of women. Family shareholder members, directors of independent companies, general managers and managers of corporate legal counsel.

Alberto Dahik

Economist from the University of Western Ontario. Graduate Studies: Princeton University. Academic direction of Sir. Arthur Lewis, Nobel laureate in economics in 1979. Specialization: Economic development, international trade, monetary and exchange rate policy. Master in Finance from ESADE. Former Vice President of the Republic of Ecuador. Currently serves as General Director of ESAI Business School.

Worked for firms such as PwC and SABMiller, served on multiple boards, including SABMiller Ecuador.

Carolina Kourroski

Over 25 years of career developed mainly in consumer goods companies such as Pycca, Semvra, Kimberly-Clark, Reckitt Benckiser & Procter and Gamble. Experience leading cross-functional teams in Sales, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance in LAO. Consumer Goods Market. Head of New Business Development at Pycca.
