Ante la problemática mundial actual, como el crecimiento poblacional y el uso no sostenible de los recursos, los suministros de nuestro planeta se ven cada vez más agotados.
Es así como surge el club de sostenibilidad en UEES, cuyo propósito principal es promover los principios de la sostenibilidad en todo el campus. Busca fomentar una cultura de consumo y producción responsables a través de campañas, actividades, reuniones y conferencias con invitados especiales.
Estas iniciativas están enfocadas en la concientización ambiental y en el desarrollo de estrategias para la resolución de problemáticas actuales. Además, se impulsa la participación activa de la comunidad universitaria en la creación e implementación de proyectos, así como en la difusión de información útil para mejorar la gestión ambiental y fortalecer la percepción de la sostenibilidad dentro del campus.
De esta manera, se busca construir un entorno universitario más consciente, participativo y comprometido con la conservación del medio ambiente.

However, there is a segregated perspective about this term “Sustainability” as there are people who see it only from an environmental framework, while in reality it encompasses a more global and transversal aspect, applied to all professional areas where they can have a more sustainable approach and linked to the fulfillment of the SDGs, such as:
Thus, UEES SOSTENIBLE arises, this club has as its main purpose to impact the principles of sustainability throughout the campus, to form a responsible culture of consumption and production through various campaigns, activities, meetings, conferences with special guests, related to awareness and strategic forms of environmental resolution, where there will be extensive participation and contribution about projects to implement, useful information to improve environmental management and the perception of sustainability on campus, in order to instill a more conscious and committed to the conservation of the environment university environment.
