The Civil Engineering career studies the optimal processes of design and construction of infrastructure and buildings that society requires for its development, understanding as optimal those processes that are adjusted to the use of technology in the analysis and designs and the use of innovative materials, limited by the cost-benefit ratio and a careful intervention in the environment.

What professional skills will I acquire?

Design Structural Systems with technical and sustainable criteria. - Design structural systems such as buildings, bridges and other civil works, as well as seismic diagnostics of structures.

Design of Road Systems. - Based on topographic surveys, perform traffic studies, geometrically design land transportation systems and determine the most suitable pavement structural section.

Multidisciplinary Project Management. - Create projects from the idea phase to the materialization of the final product, through systematized processes of work programming, cost analysis and identification of existing problems.

Hydrosanitary Design and Distribution. - Analyze and propose efficient solutions through the design of hydrosanitary systems for potable water, sewage and rainwater networks.

Geotechnical studies. - Carry out the survey of stratigraphic samples of soils for subsequent analysis and determination of their mechanical behavior.
